Welcome to Hippo Toys
Hippo Toys opened in 2004 and as a family run independent toy and model shop. We have recently moved to Unit 5, Diamond Units in Mochdre Business Park, just outside Colwyn Bay in Bay in North Wales.Although we started as a high street shop we have found that the majority of our sales are on the internet so we now operate from a small warehouse with a shop inside which you are welcome to visit. We have our own free car park in front of our unit.
We sell a large selection of Woodland Scenics, Peco, Humbrol, Airfix, Lego, Siku, Britains, Bruder, Dolls House accessories, Playmobil, Papo figures, Melissa & Doug, TY and Orchard Toys.
The model railway section of the shop has a large selection of track,buildings, scenery and accessories from Hornby, Bachmann, Graham Farish, Peco and Metcalfe.
In the summer months you will find the Hippo Toys trade stand attending many of the major agricultural shows in the area including the Royal Welsh Show with a vast range of farm toys and models by Britains, Siku and Bruder.

Monday - Friday 9:30 - 4.30
Saturday 9.30 - 4.00
We will be closed some Saturdays in the summer to attend shows. Please call to check we are open.
